Failed. Rejected. Dumped. Broke. Confused. Still here.

Everybody celebrates winning.
We celebrate the story before it.

Other apps show the highlight reel. WUMPF shows what happened between the photographs.

๐Ÿงฑ Demotivation Wall

Motivational quotes, but honest.

Add a brick to the wall.

Everyone else posts "Never give up". Post the version you actually believe at 3 AM. Funny, honest, never cruel.

๐Ÿ”” Notifications

Proof that somebody noticed.

โ† Wumpf

One story, and the people who said "same".

๐Ÿ›๏ธ Museum of Failure

What I attempted. What I expected. What actually happened.

Donate an exhibit

Every museum needs a collection. Yours is welcome here.

๐Ÿ‘ฅ Communities

Find the people who lost the same way you did.

My Failure CV

Achievements are overrated. Attempts are not.

๐ŸŒ™ 3 AM Room

No advice. No winners. Just company.

๐ŸŒ™

You are not the only one awake.

212 people are here right now. Not sleeping, not okay, not alone.

โœ๏ธ Red Pen

For posts that are a little too perfect.

Paste a show-off post. We mark it like a teacher.

"Thrilled to announce..." "Humbled to share..." Paste one and we cross out the polish and write what they really meant.

๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ Keeping it safe

A place for defeat, never for giving up.

How the big platforms moderate

  1. A machine reads first. Every post is scanned on upload for spam, hate, nudity and scams. Most removals never involve a person.
  2. Readers report. Whatever slips through gets flagged, and enough flags push it up a review queue.
  3. People decide the grey cases, often contract teams with a long rulebook. Sarcasm is what they struggle with most.
  4. Appeals and strikes. Wrong removals can be appealed. Repeat offenders get limited, then removed.

What WUMPF does

  1. We talk about defeats, not defeated people. Nobody here is a loser. Everyone here lost something, once.
  2. Name guard. Naming a person, or sharing an email or phone number, is stopped before posting.
  3. Anonymous posts get a closer look. Anonymity is for embarrassing stories, not for attacking anyone. Anonymous posts go to review first.
  4. Uploads are checked. Screenshots must hide names and faces of other people.
  5. Report on every post. A reported post disappears for you immediately and goes to review.
  6. Care first. If a post sounds like someone is in danger, we show a helpline instead of publishing.
  7. Kind replies only. Laugh at the situation, never at the person.
